Alfonso Orona entered the hotel industry at 16 with Hyatt Regency in Mexico, having grown up in a family involved in the restaurant business. His career developed through Food and Beverage management, including Director of Food and Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh. He subsequently held assignments in Oman, Spain and China, including the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Xi’an, before assuming General Manager responsibility in Beijing and later multi-property oversight that included Suzhou.
