Hugo Montanari entered hotel management through a training programme in Dubai, initially in Food and Beverage before moving into Rooms Division. His subsequent career included The Plaza in New York and Ritz-Carlton properties in Bangalore, Sanya, Tianjin and Morocco. Later assignments took him into resort development in Ibiza, with experience extending across the Middle East, North America, Asia, North Africa and Europe.
