Marco Avitabile
Marco Avitabile entered hospitality through an apprenticeship at a German hotel at 16, then worked in Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe. He joined Hyatt in 1995 as Chef de Cuisine at Grissini in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, later helping to open mezza9 in Singapore and serving as Executive Chef in Bangkok and Hong Kong. After more than nine years overseeing Food and Beverage across Hyatt’s Asia Pacific region, he became General Manager of Grand Hyatt Guangzhou in 2017.
