Philipp Knuepfer began his hotel career with Kempinski in Germany before joining Mandarin Oriental as a Management Trainee at The Kahala in Hawaii in 2002. He progressed through Food and Beverage leadership in Kuala Lumpur and Chiang Mai, then became Executive Assistant Manager in Singapore and Hotel Manager in Taipei and Washington, D.C. His academic background includes hotel management studies in Munich and an MBA from RMIT University.
