Amanfayun
Amanfayun occupies a former village in a green valley outside Hangzhou, where stone paths thread between old dwellings, tea fields and bamboo forest. Seven Buddhist temples lie along the surrounding pilgrimage routes, giving the resort an unusually lived-in cultural setting that feels quite different from a purpose-built retreat.
