Benesse House
Benesse House on Naoshima is both a hotel and a living extension of a contemporary art museum. Tadao Ando's concrete architecture steps through a landscape overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, with works of art occupying galleries, rooms and outdoor spaces. Staying here allows the island's conversation between architecture and art to continue after visitors depart.
