Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong
Kowloon Shangri-La occupies a broad waterfront position in East Tsim Sha Tsui, with Victoria Harbour forming the principal backdrop to an otherwise classically scaled city hotel. Its 688 rooms make it substantial, but the immediate access to the promenade and harbour views gives the property a stronger geographic identity than its conventional tower exterior initially suggests.
