Numazu Club combines a historic sukiya-style teahouse with a contemporary eight-room villa near the Senbon Matsubara pine grove in Shizuoka. Its thatched entrance gate and traditional teahouse are registered Japanese cultural properties, while the guestrooms open onto a quiet garden. Dining, overseen by chef Hirofumi Saito, draws on Chinese cooking within this architectural setting between Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay.
