Songtsam Basongcuo Linka Hotel
On the shores of Lake Basong Tso in eastern Tibet, Songtsam Basongcuo Linka draws its clustered stone-and-timber buildings from the vernacular of nearby Gongbu Tibetan villages. Mountain and lake views shape the experience, while 122 rooms, oxygen-enriched interiors and a focus on local crafts and community life make this a distinctive high-altitude retreat.
