The Hanok Heritage
In the mountain valleys of Yeongwol, The Hanok Heritage revisits Korea’s timber-built hanok tradition on an unusually ambitious scale. Courtyards, tiled roofs and handcrafted joinery shape 20 hotel rooms and five private villas, complemented by Korean dining, galleries and restorative spaces. Its public hotel debut in 2025 brought a once-private architectural retreat to a wider audience.
