The Murray, Hong Kong, a Niccolo Hotel

The Murray turns one of Hong Kong’s most recognisable pieces of late-modern civic architecture into a hotel without erasing what made the building distinctive. Foster + Partners retained its deep recessed windows, monumental arches and disciplined geometry, while opening the former government offices towards Hong Kong Park and the city around them with a more contemporary hospitality programme.
