High above Toranomon, this EDITION combines Ian Schrager’s pared-back hospitality language with Kengo Kuma’s warmer use of timber, planting and texture. The result is a high-rise hotel that has a surprisingly gentle, residential atmosphere within its high-rise setting, with Tokyo Tower and the wider skyline constantly present beyond interiors designed to soften the scale and intensity of the city below.
