Above the Ayung River Gorge outside Ubud, Amandari follows the spatial language of a traditional Balinese village. Stone gateways, thatched pavilions and winding paths follow the contours of the landscape, while its curved pool echoes the rice terraces below and keeps the valley at the centre of the experience.
