The Silk Lakehouse, Shangri-La Hangzhou
On the shore of West Lake, The Silk Lakehouse reimagines the former Xiling Hotel site as an intimate, richly layered residence. Gert Voorjans and Lázaro Rosa-Violán reference the houses of Jiangnan silk merchants in 68 rooms and suites, while Kokaistudios has reshaped the building’s exterior. The first Shangri-La Signatures address opened in 2025.
