Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan

Arrival at Four Seasons Sayan is deliberately theatrical: a bridge crosses the treetops to a circular lotus pond before the resort descends into the Ayung River valley. John Heah’s architecture follows the terrain through rice terraces, gardens and water, giving the property a sense of enclosure that feels markedly removed from nearby Ubud.
